Kun and the Emperor

Category: Feng Shui Life

What can we do when Kun (2 star) and the Emperor (5 star) come together in the same space?

Yes, we may know that metal is a cure for both the 2 and the 5. But what kinds of metal do we use for them? Do we use salt and water with coins? Do we use the lovely calabash? Do we use a golden cd with piano or guitar music? Do we use the chiming clock; and if so, should it have a pendulum or no pendulum? What kind of chime should it have? Can we use wind chimes? If so, for whom and what kind? Will one kind work for both types of qi?

Kun and the Emperor are both earth qi. Kun is yin while the Emperor is yang.

The two types of metal qi we have are Dui and Qian. Dui is a young female and therefore, yin. Qian is the father and the Heaven trigram; therefore, yang.

The Emperor greatly respects Heaven. Heaven is always moving. A strong metal qi is produced with the sound of a beautiful chime that is solemn and dignified such as the famous Westminster chimes. It must be resonant and should be able to be heard throughout the home or office. The perpetual motion is provided by the gently swinging pendulum of the clock.

Placing a calabash in the area of Kun (also fondly referred to as Mother Earth) is very effective. She loves her lively, lovely daughter, Dui. The calabash should have an open mouth to capture the sickness qi emitted by Kun. This open mouth gives her the trigram Dui. I have seen many instances where the sickness qi actually transformed into healing qi with the aid of the calabash along with other circumstances.

So, when Kun and the Emperor are in the same location, it is important to have both the chiming clock and the calabash.

Why not wind chimes? The Emperor does not like the knocking and banging of the chimes when the wind is strong. He does like the sound. If you have another 2 in an area that can have very long bass pentatonic chimes, then the chimes are very good for the 2 Kun. Kun likes them. The sound of the chimes will travel to the 5 Emperor and he will be pleased. You should still have a chiming clock, though, since the chimes and the pendulum are regular like Heaven.

The Emperor loves the color of golden yellow. The color I have found most effective is Mellow Yellow by Behr which can be found at Home Depot. In the case of the 2 and 5 together, the yellow color is very important since it will bring the brightness necessary to keep away the ghosts that love to congregate around Kun and the Emperor. I use yellow paint and a lamp that gives up lighting in the area.

When Mom and the Emperor are both happy we have better lives.
