We’ll consider each of these three areas along with the other six areas to find the perfect kid room decorating idea to fit your goals and your style.
The Wisdom, or Self-Knowledge corner represents the learning area. This is where you would want to foster your child’s learning experiences, school, sports or anything else that involves self-education, self-knowledge or wisdom. It’s also an ideal location in which to enhance your child’s memory, and activate good study and homework skills. The kid room decorating idea utilizing this space would be to set it up as your child’s personal “office,” arranging their books, computer, desk and chair in the most advantageous areas according to the Bagua. Include some items in this area that are either dark blue or black as these colors represent the elements of the Wisdom corner. A terrarium may also be a good idea, as Wisdom is associated with the Earth element.
The next area, The Foundation, Family and Ancestors corner on the middle left of the Bagua, is the area where your family could spend time together. This would be a great place for a sofa and table on which to do puzzles or play games.
