Are You Living With Sabotaging Energies?
Nov 13th, 2005 • Category: Feng Shui LifeWhen you feel your physical energy out of balance, you might visit your Acupuncturist for a treatment. However, the Feng Shui energy patterns of your building could be contributing to your health problems. On a daily basis, the unseen energies in your home and office are either supporting or sabotaging your health, relationships and finances.
Here are the four distinct levels of analysis that are required in a complete Classical Feng Shui diagnosis of your building.
Form School analysis - is only the tip of the Feng Shui iceberg. Most popular books focus only on these aspects; such as beams, angles, stairways, slopes and T-intersections because these are the factors you can see with the naked eye. However, the Feng Shui aspects that are unseen have a stronger influence and are omitted from popular do-it-yourself books.
East / West theory - The building’s magnetic orientation determines the building’s Trigram from the Yi Jing (I Ching). Each Trigram has four supportive and four sabotaging 45 directions / areas. Of primary concern at this level is the location of your entrances and bedrooms. In addition, your date-of-birth reveals your Personal Trigram and directions, which are used for furniture placement.
Lifetime Personal Aspects - Your date of birth reveals how your body relates to the magnetic energies of Earth on many different levels. Some books include the correct calculations to determine your Personal Trigram according to the East/West Theory. However, you have several other supportive and sabotaging personal directions, which are also omitted from the do-it-yourself books. In fact, only 5% of Feng Shui consultants have the training to determine all nine of your 15 Personal Aspects, including your Prosperous, Creative, Analytical, Lonely and Consuming directions. Xuan Kong analysis - Time and Space are the most important factors in Classical Feng Shui’s Xuan Kong calculations. The exact compass orientation and date of construction reveal your building’s unseen energy blueprint. There is no such thing as a perfect Feng Shui house; however the energy patterns in the majority of buildings are easily improved with a minimum of elemental remedies. The art aspect of Classical Feng Shui is implementing the necessary elemental remedies as beautiful accessories that complement your decor.
Universal Life Force Energy - Qi (chi) moves with air and water currents, which is why Feng Shui literally translates to Wind Water. Qi is basically neutral and is influenced by the inherent energy patterns within a building. If the energy pattern is supportive you will benefit from spending time in that area. However, where there is a sabotaging energy pattern you will experience the negative affect depending on how much time you spend in that area. Elemental remedies are necessary to neutralize sabotaging energies to avoid experiencing negative circumstances.
Feng Shui House Types - The most desirable house type is “Wang Shan, Wang Shui,” which is good for people and good for money. The other house types are either good for people, or good for money, or bad for both. Good for money buildings cause trouble with health and/or relationship matters. Good for people buildings create financial and/or career problems, which is worse when it is a business location. Buildings that are bad for both people and money will make you feel like you are swimming upstream in all aspects of your life. When the proper elemental remedies are placed correctly outside these negative influences become neutralized.
Entrances - When the door has a sabotaging energy pattern, the building as a whole is affected. If you have been experiencing money delays, arguments, lawsuits, accidents, robberies, health and/or relationship problems, the energy pattern at the entrance could be creating the situation. An entrepreneur had an injured ankle that would not heal when I came to Feng Shui her apartment. The energy pattern at her entrance was such that it would cause pain-in or broken small bones. When she installed the necessary elemental remedy, her ankle immediately healed and the side effect was increased income.
Bedrooms - We spend a third of our lives in our most relaxed state in our beds, which is why having supportive energies in your bedroom is critical. Another client was experiencing stomach problems and having trouble with her marriage when she scheduled her consultation. The energy pattern in her bedroom was indeed causing her problems. After placing the appropriate elemental remedy, her health was restored and their relationship improved.
Choosing a Consultant - When choosing a Feng Shui consultant verify references and credentials, just as you would if you were choosing an Acupuncturist. Both of these ancient Chinese sciences require years of practice and training at respected institution. An Asian heritage does not guarantee a consultant is analyzing all four levels of Classical Feng Shui.
In addition, it is important to inquire whether you will receive a written report that includes your nine 15 personal aspects. Also inquire, if annual updates are available and if they offer Feng Shui Day Selection services. Finally, be sure you are comfortable with them and are able to communicate with them easily.
